Irene Finneran Obituary
Irene was a secretary for Glenlyon Printworks, Rumford, for several years. She enjoyed cooking, gardening and caring for her three beloved dogs.
Irene leaves a daughter, Patricia L. Scully and her husband, Raymond of Pawtucket; two grandchildren, Jason M. Scully and Kristen E. DeAmaral and her husband, Manuel; three great-grandchildren, Kyle R. DeAmaral, Ava C. DeAmaral and Sydney A. Scully. She was the sister of the late Raymond Caswell.
A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Monday at the Church of St. Leo the Great, 699 Central Ave., Pawtucket. Interment followed at Notre Dame Cemetery. Memorial gifts to the Alzheimer's Association, 245 Waterman Ave., Suite 306, Providence, RI 02906 would be appreciated. Care was provided by William W. Tripp Funeral Home, Pawtucket.

I remember Irene from growing up on York Avenue in Pawtucket. The one thing that stands out in my mind happened one Halloween getting a knock at our door on the second floor and seeing an adult in costume standing there. It was Irene. What a surprise. Out of character and totally funny.
She was indeed a good person.
