Irene Y. Gingras

CUMBERLAND - Irene Y. Gingras, 88, of Flat St. and formerly of River Rd., Lincoln., passed away Saturday in the Landmark Medical Center, Woonsocket.Born in Pawtucket she was the daughter of the late Edmund and Lillian (Barin) Gingras. She resided in Cumberland for the past eight years and had also lived Lincoln for over 60 years previously residing in Pawtucket.She was employed by the former American Insulated Wire Co., for 44 years retiring in 1990. Irene was also a communicant of St. Jude Church, Lincoln.She leaves four siblings, Richard G. Gingras, Arthur L. Gingras and Barbara D. Sroka all of Cumberland; Alfred E. Gingras of Pawtucket. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Edmund D. Gingras, Evelyn A. LaLiberte, Robert K. Gingras and Earl J. Gingras. A celebration of her life to which relatives and friends are kindly invited will be held Tuesday morning from 8-9:30 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St. Jude Church, Front St., Lincoln.
