Jacqueline Grimaldi Obituary
She was the daughter of the late Ralph and Doris (Hall) Handy. She was employed by Fatima Hospital as a nurse for twenty two years until her retirement. She was a fun, loving and caring person to her children, grandchildren and neighbors. She was a devoted Catholic and taught CCD classes at St. Maria Goretti Church. She loved to crochet, knit and read.
Besides her husband she is survived by her two sons, Steven (Roberta) Grimaldi of Cranston and Philip (Erica) Grimaldi of Woonsocket. Mother of the late Karen Grimaldi. Two sisters, Beryl Brett of Rehoboth, MA and Norma Soares of Pawtucket. Sister of the late Shirley LaRose. Seven grandchildren, Three great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Calling Hours will be held on Friday April 1st. from 4 to 8 pm in the Merrick R. Williams Funeral Home 530 Smithfield Ave. Pawtucket, with a funeral service at 7 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hope Hospice & Palliative Care of RI 1085 North Main St. Providence, RI 02904. www.merrickrwilliamsfh.com

Love and miss you always you are a great wife mother sister grandmother great grandmother great mother in law you were kind hearted and a joy to be around I and Steven are gonna miss sitting at the kitchen table having coffee with you and Dad. I will miss that cute curve of your lip when you smile and the quiet times you share with as we were all talking. We will remember the times you made us laugh. Those moments always came as a surprise from you to us and we would just crack up. You mean the world to us and always will. When my mom pass I could feel a whole in my heart and now that whole has gotten bigger and Steven heart now hold that same whole. We both feel so much pain in our hearts but knowing your not in pain any more is more important than what we feel right now. WE LOVE YOU JACKIE (MOM) Life won't be the same without you.
