James Ferguson Obituary
Mr. Ferguson worked for Brooks Drugs as a truck driver. He was also an Automobile Auction Broker throughout New England before retiring.
He is survived by two sons John S. Ferguson of Seekonk and his wife Allison, and James A. Ferguson, Jr. of Pawtucket. His significant partner Eleanor G. Mello, Jr. of Pawtucket; a brother Carl Ferguson of Warwick; a sister Maryanne Ferguson-Russell of Pawtucket; Noah, Haylie, Mariah and unborn grandson Asher J. Ferguson arriving in November and several nieces and nephews. He was the father of the late Paul A. Ferguson; brother of the late Tom Ferguson.
A celebration of life service will be held Thursday at 7 PM in Cheetham Funeral Home, 1012 Newport Avenue, Pawtucket, RI 02861. Calling hours Thursday from 4-7 PM. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in his memory to Philip Hulitar Hospice Center 1085 N. Main St Providence, RI 02904. Please visit trippfuneralhome.com for additional information.

Deepest sympathy to Eleanor and all of Jim's family, on their loss. Have known Jim for many years, and we are hoping that he is in a "better place", and his suffering is over. Now, the loved ones left behind, are doing their suffering during this very difficult time.

Jim was one of my favorite people. He tried to be ornery, but he never could really "sell it"... I worked with his son Paul. Another of my favorites.Both of them had hearts of gold and are missed. Rest in Peace, Jim. I'm happy for you that your struggle has ended.My deepest condolences to all that loved and knew Jim. Please take some comfort in knowing that he is in a better place.
