James Munger Obituary

WOONSOCKET - James R. Munger, 71, of Woonsocket, died Dec. 31, 2016, in Trinity Health & Rehabilitation Center, Woonsocket. Born in Washington, D.C., he was the son of the late Frank and Beatrice (Furlong) Munger.

James was a Vietnam Navy Veteran and worked in construction for many years.

He is survived by his daughter, Erica Rodrigues, and two grandchildren of Woonsocket; his sister, Darlene Thomas of Loudon, Tenn.; and his friend, Terry Kell, of Lincoln. He was a longtime member of the Happy Wanderers of Woonsocket and had many friends in that organization.

Committal Prayers and Military Honors will be held Tuesday, Jan. 17, 2017, at 11 a.m. in R.I. Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 301 South County Trail, Exeter. Calling hours are omitted. Arrangements are under the direction of the Holt Funeral Home, 510 South Main St., Woonsocket.
