James Woolley Obituary

COVENTRY - WOOLLEY, JAMES F., 91, of Coventry, passed away at home Sunday, May 6, with his family by his side. He was the beloved husband of 59 years to Margaret (Andryc) Woolley.
A son of George and Sarah (Vassett) Woolley, he grew up in Valley Falls, and proudly served as a US Navy Torpedoman's Mate 3rd Class in the Pacific during World War II. In addition to his wife, he leaves his daughter, Paula Woolley, and her husband Mitch Evich of Somerville MA; his son, Very Rev. Michael Woolley, Pastor of St. Joseph Church, Woonsocket, and as of July 1, Pastor of Ss. John and Paul Church, Coventry; and his grandchildren, Andryc Evich of Washington DC, and Iris Evich of Somerville MA. He was predeceased by his brother George Woolley.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday, May 12 at 10 am at Ss. John and Paul Church, 341 South Main St., Coventry RI.
