Jeannette E. Cournoyer

WOONSOCKET - Jeannette E. Cournoyer 95, died Friday, April 17, 2015 at The Holiday in Lincoln. She was the wife of the late Emile J. Cournoyer. Born in Woonsocket, she was a daughter of the late Jacob and Matilde (Giguere) Theroux.
Jeannette worked for the Argonne Worsted Co., Marcel Dursin Co. and the Foxboro Co. She also owned and operated the former City Laundromat on Front St. before retiring thirty years ago. Jeannette was a member of the Sr. Citizens at Gate Wood Association and St. Joseph Sr. Citizens.
She is survived by a daughter Diane M. Lambert and her husband Arthur of North Smithfield, a special goddaughter Irene Garger of Pittsburg, PA and three grandchildren, Michael, Steven and Christopher Lambert. She was also the sister of the late Jean Paul, Adelard, Lionel, and Emile Theroux, Bertha Tellier, Yvonne Messier and Jacqueline Cournoyer.
Her funeral will be held Tuesday at 9:00 AM from the Fournier & Fournier Funeral Home, 463 South Main St., Woonsocket, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM in Our Lady Queen of Martyrs Church, Park Ave., Woonsocket. Burial will follow in St. Jean Baptiste Cemetery in Bellingham. Visiting hours are Monday 5-8 PM.
