Just recently found out about Joan's passing and I am so sorry to hear. My sympathies. Joan and I were friends and we worked together at AIW. Joan taught me many valued things in life and I'll always remember her. Blessings to all in Joan's family.

My sympathy to the family and friends. My wife and I were friends many years ago. Christine (Cinq-Mars) Terzino and Joan were close friends when our children were young. I remember her as always pleasant and happy. So nice to be around. She will be missed by everyone who knew her.

It's been many years since I have lived nearby but I have such lovely memories of Joan and what a beautiful soul she was. She was one of my Mom's best friends and I grew up as a child appreciating so much about her...her warmness, bright smile, kind demeanor and her wonderful sense of humor. Tony, Marisa, Jim and families, my deepest condolences. She was an angel and my heart goes out to you for this difficult loss. Wishing you comfort in the many great memories you all shared together. Sending love and hugs.

Dear Jim and family,
Im so sorry for your loss. I still remember how kind your mom was to me whenever I came over to see you when we were much younger of course. We all shared many laughs together and it was always a great time at your mom and dads home in Pawtucket. I will always cherish those found memories. My sincere condolences during this very difficult time. May the soul of your mother be at peace with our Heavenly Father.

I don't even know where to begin with my words, it is always been me and Mom side by side through thick and through thin, we bounce off each other we were each other's rocks each other's best friends each other's life and soul, I can't imagine me continuing without her next to me in life but I know she will always be by my side in spirit and in memory and in my heart I am truly devastated episode that Mom is gone would it be snowing she is at peace after giving so much to so many she has touched more people than I could even express. The woman was a saint judge nobody loved all, we have always called her strong like bull is she has proven that point right down to her very last breath. May you rest in Eternal peace my dear Mom I love you in secret forever not a day will go by without me thinking of of you...❤

Joan and I were great friends both of us living on Perrin Ave. While my husband was in Korea and I was living at home, Joan and I would walk to the Darlton Theater on Saturday night.
Joan was the greatest of friends. She had such compassion for everyone with any form of troubles or health problem. After talking on the phone with her you always felt better and happy to call her a friend.
So my dear Joan, rest in peace and enjoy your place in heaven with your loved ones. I will miss you.
Love, Carol (Garvin)

Aunt Joan was always my supportor. She always had advice...whether it was what I wanted to hear or not. She was honest with me, prayed for me and told me she loved me. What a beautiful woman inside and out.
