Mr. Drescher was born in New York City, the son of the late Valentine and Irene (Daily) Drescher. He worked in security with Blackstone Security.
Besides his wife, John is survived by his children, Oretta Tegan, Elizabeth Reiser, John B. Drescher Jr., Mary Ramos and James Gregory Drescher. He is predeceased by his daughter Melissa Drescher.
