John Horan Obituary
He was the husband of the late Simone (Vanvooren) Horan. Born in Providence, son of the late Marjorie Mowry and Artur F. Horan.
John was a self-employed truck driver, and also worked for the Holliston Sand Co. He was a lifelong North Smithfield resident, he served in the Army during the Korean War. Also he was an avid striped bass fisherman and stock car racer.
John is survived by his daughters, Joan Auclair, Debra Totten and Gail Reppel; brothers, Carl Rouette, W, Robert Freiberger and Lloyd Richard Cottle; and sisters, Nancy Stankus, Mary Lou Freiberger, Madeline Sutherland, and Brenda Riendeau. He is also survived by three grandchildren.
Funeral services and burial were held privately. Arrangements are entrusted to the Keene-Brown Funeral 445 Greenville Road, North Smithfield.

my brother Jack was like a dad to me. he interrogated any boyfriend that came to pick me up before we left. he was a great brother and friend. Love and miss him.

When I was a young boy I would spend my summers at my Aunt Marge's home, My cousin Jack and I always were together. He will be Missed, but He is better off now. No pain or other problems

My Brother Jack and I Shared our earliest years till 1950 when I left home. He taught me much about mechanical things that helped me, and much about learning to face life in a confident way. In the past several years we returned to that closeness in a shared love of auto racing.Several visits to and from Arizona in recent years will remain a treasured memory.Rest in peace Brother
