John Thompson Obituary
John was a graduate of Mt. St. Mary Seminary in Baltimore and served the Diocese of Providence for 17 years as a Roman Catholic Priest. He later was employed as the Human Resource Director at Chickadee Farms in Woodville.
John is also survived by his children: Susan, Patricia, Deborah, David, Michael, Elizabeth and Hannah, 14 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by a son: Walter and siblings: Edward, US Army, Joseph and Betty Thompson, Lois Barry and Dorothy Andrews.
His Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on August 27, 2015 at 10 AM in Christ the King Parish, 180 Old North Road, Kingston. Visiting hours from 9-10 AM in the church.

Dear Deb and family,
The Duffy family is so sad to read of Jack's passing. We have such fond memories of all of us together on Hamlet St. in Pawtucket or at Little Compton. It was so nice both of you came to my Dad's funeral. You are in our thoughts and prayers.

Jack married us in May of 1965, also baptized our 3 children. His mother lived in the house where I grew up. We had lots of laughs in those days. We are sure he will be greatly missed.

A wonderful man who always wore a smile on his face and laughter in his heart. My heart and prayers go out to Deb, the Grant Family (David, Karen and Andrew) and the rest of the family. He will never leave you as he will live on in your memories and in your heart.
