Jose Silva Obituary
Born in Santa Katrina, Praia, Cape Verde Island, a son of the late Manuel Cruz and Maria Jose Bala. He had served in the US Army.
He had been employed by Sealy Mattress for several years before retiring due to illness.
He is also survived by a daughter, Dawn Silva, a son, Jose M. Silva Jr, three brothers, John C. Silva, Paul Silva and Reinaldo B. Silva all of Pawtucket, two sisters, Maria M. Bouchard of Pawtucket and Bebelina Pina of Valdosta, Georgia and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. He was the brother of the late Clarise D. Gomes.
His funeral will be held Saturday at 9am from the Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave, Lincoln with a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Anthony Church, Lawn Ave, Pawtucket at 10am. Burial will be in Walnut Hill Cemetery, Pawtucket on Monday due to excessive snow. Relatives and friends are invited. Calling hours will be held Friday from 5 to 7pm.
