I would like to extend my heartfelt condolences to Joe Lemoine's daughters and family. Joe was a man of integrity, who loved God and country. He was a skilled craftsman and an intellectual who sought out truth. He will be greatly missed.

I remember when I was a young child he was staying with me and my family for a short time. I remember being absolutely amazed by watching him crack a raw egg into orange juice and drink it raw. He just laughed it off like it was nothing as my 8 year old mouth was dropped to the floor in disbelief. I have so many memories of him revolving my whole childhood. He took the place of a second father in those years and taught me so much and cared for me like his own daughter. I remember hearing his truck pull up outside my house every morning to get my brother up for work for so many years. He will be so dearly missed by me and my family as we all share such loving memories with him that we will hold onto forever. May he rest in peace surrounded by many of gods animals and stones!

I'm so sorry for your loss. I met Joe when we were in our 20's. I haven't seen him in several years, but we kept in touch now & again through Facebook. I remember how kind and sincere he always was. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

I remember meeting Joe back around 1988, when everyone hung around "The Plaza", as we called it, on Diamond Hill Road. He was driving my favorite car, a black and gold `79 Trans AM. He was a friend of my cousins, and we had many laughs that night. We took his motorcycle out in the middle of winter on black ice once, cruised everywhere in that TA, sat in the lifeguard chair at the beach, watched his softball games, and shared other adventures along the way. I loved watching him paint the Indian girl portrait, his mom kept for a while, and the detail he put into a perfectly scaled King Tut years ago was amazing! We´ve had many laughs, and some tears, over the years. His infectious smile always made everything okay in the end. The love he has for his two daughters is really something special, and I enjoyed hearing their stories. Joe once said, "You have to be good with God." I suppose he is. You are missed Joe.

Joe was my dear friend of over 30 years and we had so many nice memories. We played softball and talked often about the simple pleasures of life. Joe was gentle, kind hearted, extremely loyal with deep humility, devoted father and a wonderful friend to me over our years together. He will be missed dearly .
Your loving friend buddy,
