Joseph Marchick Obituary
He was born in Central Falls, a son of the late Joseph & Helen (Nimic) Marchick.
Joe worked for the Corning Glass Works Company, for 35 years. He was a Woonsocket resident, previously living in Central Falls. He was a WWII Army Veteran and was a member of the Club ParX and the Woonsocket Elks Lodge #850. He was also an avid Celtics, Patriots and Red Sox fan.
He is survived by a son, David Marchick of Lincoln, and 3 daughters, Cynthia Marchick of North Providence, Susan Desautel of Cumberland and Jessica Pacheco of Woonsocket. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death a daughter, Ann DeMarco and a sister, Helen Karaniuk.
His funeral service will be Wednesday at 6:30pm in the Egidio DiPardo & Sons Funeral Home, 75 Harris Ave., Woonsocket. Burial with military honors will be held Thursday at 11am in the RI Veteran's Cemetery in Exeter. Calling hours will be Wednesday from 4-7pm.
