Joseph Richard Obituary
He was the husband of the late Gertrude (Pease) Richard. Mr. Richard is survived by his daughters, Deborah Tirrell, and her husband David, Linda Papageorge, and her husband, Keith, Kathleen Richard, his son,
Frank Richard, his sisters, Yvette Vary, and Noella Guerrieri, 11 grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He was the devoted companion of Pamela Smith until his death.
Mr. Richard was born in Central Falls, Rhode lsland, on June 20,1925, and was the son of Adelard and Georgette (Baris) Richard. At age 17, Mr. Richard entered the U.S. Navy, and served aboard the USS Abbott until World War II ended in 1945. He was a life time member of the Burgy Bullets Snowmobile Club, the Moose Lodge and a member of the American Legion. In his later years, he moved from Haydenville to Florida, making frequent visits to Massachusetts where his children lived.
