Juliette Cecile Charette

NORTH SMITHFIELD - Juliette Cecile (Lavoie) Charette, 93, of North Smithfield, RI, passed away on November 8, 2016, after a brief illness, at the St. Antoine Residence.She was the wife of the late Roland Alfred Lionel Charette.
She was born in Woonsocket, a daughter of the late Charles O. and Rose H. (Vadenais) Lavoie.
Juliette was the assistant buyer in the Men's Department at the former McCarthy's Department store in Woonsocket. She was a member of St. Agatha's Senior Citizens and enjoyed playing bingo at The Meadows.
She is survived by 3 daughters, Susan M. Remington and her husband William M. Remington, Jr., Sharon J. Charette and Christine A. Krieger and her late husband Robert Krieger, 2 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren, William M. Remington III and his wife Rachel (Caswell) Remington and their son Tyler, Julie-Anne (Remington) Bakes and her husband Gregory Bakes and their children, Jayden, Jacob, and Isaiah.
Her funeral will be held Saturday at 9am from the Keene-Brown Funeral Home, 445 Greenville Rd., North Smithfield, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10am in Our Lady Queen of Martyrs Church, Park Ave., Woonsocket. Burial will follow in St. Jean the Baptiste Cemetery in Bellingham, MA. Calling hours will be Friday from 4-8pm.
