Lina J. Toupin

SLATERSVILLE - Lina J. Toupin 83, of School St. died October 18, 2018 at Landmark Medical Center. She was the beloved wife of Gerald R. Toupin. Born in Woonsocket, she was a daughter of the late Armand and Jeanne (Gaudreau) Hogue. Lina spent most of her life as a homemaker raising her sons and later was a secretary for the Greater Woonsocket Catholic Regional School System for over fifteen years before retiring.
Besides her husband she leaves six sons, Marc Toupin of Woonsocket, Michael Toupin of Blackstone, Matthew Toupin of Pawtucket, Martin Toupin of N. Providence, Philip Toupin of Elisabethtown, NC, and Peter Toupin of Fort Lauderdale, FL, fourteen grandchildren and twenty one great-grandchildren. She was pre-deceased by her youngest son Luc and a sister Dolores Belanger.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday at 10:00 AM in Holy Trinity Church, 1409 Park Ave., Woonsocket. Burial will follow in St. Jean Baptiste Cemetery in Bellingham. Visiting hour are kindly omitted. The family will receive guests beginning at 9:30 AM in church.
