Lydia M. Stockwell

BURRILLVILLE - Lydia M. (Thomas) Stockwell, 87, passed away Wednesday, December 2, 2020 in Bayberry Commons, Pascoag. She was the wife of the late Myron C. Stockwell. Born in East Providence, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Mary (Grace) Thomas.

Lydia graduated from E. Providence High School. She worked as a telephone operator for the former New England Telephone for many years and also as a CNA and switchboard operator at Zambarano Hospital. She was an active member of St. Joseph's Church in Pascoag and St. Eugene's Church in Chepachet.

She is survived by three sons: Myron Stockwell of Lagrange, ME and Kevin and Jeffry Stockwell, both of Pascoag; a sister, Mildred Carlson; four grandchildren: Andrew Larson of North Smithfield, Kolby Stockwell, Allie Stockwell and Sara Stockwell of Pascoag and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her daughters, Debra and Mary Stockwell, a brother, Elmer Thomas and sisters: Edith Thomas, Norma Whelan, Amelia Twinning and Evelyn McKenna.

Funeral arrangements for Lydia are private and under the direction of the Boucher Funeral Home, 272 Sayles Ave., Pascoag. A celebration of life will be scheduled at a later date.
