Margaret Smith Obituary

NORTH SMITHFIELD - Margaret "Peggy" A. (Sansiveri) Smith, 89, of Tifft Rd., died March 29, 2016 in St. Antoine Residence, North Smithfield. She was the wife of the late Leo Smith. Born in Saratoga Springs, NY, she was the daughter of the late Ignazio and Vincenza (Scuderi) Sansiveri.
She worked as a spinner for the former Falls Yarn Mill, Woonsocket. Peggy was a member of the North Smithfield Senior Citizens Center and a communicant of St. John the Evangelist Church, North Smithfield.
She is survived by her son, Denis Smith and his wife Carol of Slatersville; her brother, Anthony Sansiveri of Saratoga Springs, NY; two sisters, Bernadine Clark of Saratoga Springs, NY, and Carmelann Lariviere of Westfield, MA. She was predeceased in death by her brother Jerry Sansiveri and her sister Mary Brundage.
Her funeral will be held beginning with visitation Saturday, April 2, 2016 at 9 AM from the Holt Funeral Home, 510 So. Main St., Woonsocket with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 AM in St. John the Evangelist Church, 63 Church Street, Slatersville. Burial will follow in the parish Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hope Hospice & Palliative Care Rhode Island, 1085 North Main Street, Providence, Rhode Island 02904 www.holtfuneralhome.com
