Margarette E. Brien

WOONSOCKET - Margarette E. (Haire) Brien, 89, of Mendon Rd., died February 19, 2017 in the Ballou Home, Woonsocket. She was the wife of the late Albert Brien. Born in Worcester, MA, she was the daughter of the late Willis and Margarette (Welch) Haire, Sr.
Margarette worked as an LPN for Zambarano Hospital, Pascoag and previously worked for the Wrentham State School. She was an avid reader and enjoyed shopping, musicals and trivia. The family would like to thank the entire staff of the Ballou Home for their outstanding care, especially Dr. Alvin Bacon.
She is survived by a son, Raymond Brien, Sr. and his wife Lisa of Douglas, MA; a brother, Willis Haire, Jr. of Shrewsbury, MA; a sister, Barbara Truelson of Shrewsbury, MA, her niece, Carol-Ann Dionne of Forestdale; five grandchildren, Raymond, Jr., Randy and Michael Brien and Stephanie and Kaylie Henault, as well as seven great grandchildren. She was the sister of the late Francis Haire and Ruth Rondeau.
