Marie L. Roy Gregoire

NORTH SMITHFIELD - Marie L. (Bouley) Roy Gregoire 83, of 400 Mendon Rd., died Tuesday, November 17, 2015 at St. Antoine Residence, surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of the late Robert R. Roy, and Roger D. Gregoire. Born in Woonsocket, she was a daughter of the late Paul and Marie-Ange (Girard) Bouley.
Marie was a LPN for over twenty years, and worked at the former Pondville Hospital, Fogarty Hospital, Woonsocket Hospital, and then Landmark Medical Center, retiring in 1994. She then worked as an LPN for the Adult Day Care Senior Center for three years. She was a communicant of St. Agatha's Parish and a member of the Sr. Citizen Club. Marie enjoyed acting and took part in plays at Theatre Works. She also loved singing and along with her husband Roger, entertained seniors at St. Antoine Residence and the Woonsocket Adult Day Care Center. She also sang in many church choirs in her lifetime. She had many dear friends and enjoyed traveling.
Marie is survived by two sons Raymond Roy of Blackstone, and Richard Roy of Bellingham, a daughter Robin Charland of Barnstead, NH, two step-sons Phillippe Gregoire of Fall River, MA, and Michael Gregoire of Rutland, MA, twelve grandchildren and seventeen great-grandchildren. She was also the mother of the late Michelle Cousineau, and sister of the late Raymond Bouley, Mayor Gerard Bouley, Gregory Bouley, Sr. Therese Bouley PM and Annette Krol.
Her funeral will be held Friday at 9:00 a.m. from the Fournier & Fournier Funeral Home, 463 South Main St., Woonsocket with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. in St. Theresa's Church, Rathbun St., Blackstone, MA. Burial will follow in St. Jean Baptiste Cemetery in Bellingham.
