BURRILLVILLE - Maureen M. McGrane 91 of Burrillville passed away peacefully on May 30, 2024, with family by her side. Born in
Oakland,
RI, she was the daughter of the late Vincent and Elizabeth (McDonald) Bryne. She was the loving wife of the late John McGrane.
Maureen was a 1956 graduate of St. Joseph's L.P.N. School, she worked as a L.P.N. at St. Joseph's Hospital Fatima Unit North providence for 38 years retiring in 1995.
As a lifelong resident of Burrillville, she was a member of the St. Patrick's Rosary and Altar Society, she was active in St. Patrick's Bingo, and Ashton Court Activities, she assisted with Meals on Wheels, and bowled with the Smithfield Women's League.
She is survived by her son Michael McGrane and his wife Christine of Mapleville and a granddaughter Megan McGrane.
She was the beloved sister of the late Brendan Bryne, and Lawrence Bryne.
Arrangements are entrusted to the Brown Funeral Home 1496 Victory Hwy. Oakland, RI.
Calling hours will be held in the funeral home on Monday, June 3, 2024, from 4:00PM-7:00PM
Funeral will be at 9:00 AM at the Brown Funeral Home with a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Patrick's Church, Harrisville Main St. Burial will follow in St. Patrick's Cemetery Pascoag Main St.
In Lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Maureen can be made to St. Patrick's Church

To the McGrane family. My deepest sympathy and condolences on your loss. I had the wonderful pleasure of working with Maureen at Fatima. I was a cook there. She worked on Second Pavilion. Later I would see her at Dino's where I worked in Deli. Know that your family and Maureen are and always will be in my thoughts and prayers.
