Michael R. Laliberte

WOONSOCKET - Michael R. Laliberte 45, passed away peacefully, Tuesday, November 16, 2021 in Landmark Medical Center from a long courageous battle with Budd Chiari Syndrome with his loving family by his side.

Born in Woonsocket, son of Marcel and Lorraine (Jalette) Laliberte of Woonsocket.

He worked as a Financial Advisor for Boston State Financial for five years and in finance for over 15 years. He was also Owner and Operator of Five Star Painting. Michael was a graduate of the WHS class of 1994. While attending school he was elected by the student body to be given a plaque in music for mastering the Trumpet which is still hanging in the hall of the WHS. He also obtained degree in Business Finance from Johnson & Wales University.

Michael enjoyed spending time with his family and friends but most of all his two daughters. He was an avid musician which his talent for playing musical instruments was past on to his daughters. He enjoyed the times that they all got together to play for family on special occasions. He also loved fishing, bowling, hiking, golfing, and playing pool with his father and friends. He enjoyed going to New Hampshire with his family to spend time at their special location which they called "The Spot." Michael was a very hard worker and put all his effort in everything he did. He was also an avid Patriots and Boston Red Sox fan.

Besides his parents Marcel and Lorraine, he is survived by his two daughters, Madeleine and Kendal both of Seekonk, MA. One sister, Melissa Laliberte of Woonsocket. And several uncles, aunts, and cousins.

A Memorial Mass will be held on Tuesday, November 23, 2021 at 10 AM in All Saints Church Rathbun St. Woonsocket, RI. Burial will be private.
