Michael Lemek Obituary
Michael had a personality that was larger than life! He enjoyed watching the Patriots and the Red Sox and was an avid softball player in the men's North Smithfield league in his early years. He had a passion for muscle cars, loved all animals, especially his pets, Peter, Halo, and Luna. Above all else, he will always be remembered as a creative and generous man who would give the shirt off of his back to help someone in need.
Besides his wife, Maureen, he is survived by their children, Matthew and Meredith Lemek of Richmond; two brothers, Richard Lemek and his wife Gail of Putnam Conn.; David Lemek and his wife Deborah of Burrillville; and one sister, Viola Robidoux of South Kingstown. He was preceded in death by his two brothers, Steven and Robert Lemek.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday, July 18, 2018, at 10:30 a.m. in St. John the Evangelist Church, 63 Church St., Slatersville. Calling hours are Tuesday, July 17, 2018, from 4 to 7 p.m. in the Holt Funeral Home, 510 South Main St., Woonsocket. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Special Olympics North Kingstown, 227 Boston Neck Road, North Kingstown, RI 02852 or through http://teamsonk.wixsite.com/sonk.

I met Mike at work. He became my Buddy. He had some great stories and a huge heart. He loved his children big time. He was so kind and caring. Mike used to bring flowers to all of us at work, it brightened our day! I'm going to miss Big Mike! I'm so glad I met him. Until we meet again......
