Piotr J. Grela

Piotr J. Grela 89, passed away Tuesday November 23, 2021. He was the beloved husband of the late Maria M. (Grzesik) Grela.
Born in Otfinow, Poland he was a son of the late Jan and Maria (Grzymek) Grela. He came to this country in 1978. He lived in Pawtucket for the past 40 years and was formerly of Central.
Before retiring he was employed as a Coiler by the former Carol Cable Co. of Lincoln. Prior to that while living in Poland he was a Teacher and School Principal for 18 years.
Mr. Grela is survived by his loving family, two daughters Jolanta Gazaille and her husband Rick of Whitinsville, MA, Monika Guimond and her husband Ernest of Longs, SC and one son Wesley and his wife Krystyna Grela of Seekonk, MA. He also leaves one sister Krystyna Ziemba and her husband Mitchell of Attleboro, MA, seven grandchildren, one great granddaughter, nieces and nephews.
The funeral for Mr. Grela will be held Tuesday November 30, 2021 at 8:30 a.m from the Karol A. Romenski & Sons Funeral Home 342 High Street Central Falls with a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Joseph's Church 391 High Street Central Falls at 10:00 a.m. Relatives and friends are welcome to attend.
