BLACKSTONE - Raymond Morisseau, 86, of Blackstone, MA passed away on Sunday, January 19, 2025 at Landmark Medical Center with his family by his side. He is the beloved husband of the late
Claire A.
(Courtemanche) Morisseau and the
loving father of twin sons Dennis R. Morisseau of East Providence, RI, David R. Morisseau of Blackstone, MA, and his late daughter Donna L. Morisseau.
Raymond was born in Woonsocket, RI on March 20, 1938, the son of the late Emile and Laurencia (Julie) Morisseau, and the brother of the late Camille Morisseau and Alfred Morisseau.
Raymond was a United States Navy Veteran attaining the rank of FN. He served During Vietnam War Era from 1956 - 1962 .
He was a resident of Blackstone since 1959, formerly of Woonsocket, RI. Raymond worked at Bird and Son of Walpole for over 21 years, then Tupperware and Senior Flexionics of Sharon, MA until retiring. He was a communicant of Divine Mercy Church. He enjoyed traveling. He will be greatly missed.
Funeral will be held on Friday, January 31st with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11AM at Divine Mercy Church, 48 St. Paul Street, Blackstone, MA. Burial in the family lot at St. Paul's Cemetery will be at a later date. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. There are no visiting hours.
