Rene Jette Obituary
Born in Pawtucket, he was a son of the late Thomas A. and Mary L. (Tremblay) Jette.
He had been employed by Raytheon for 25 years before retiring in 1986. Rene was a Navy veteran of WWII. He was a former member of the James Stanton Post and the American Legion.
Besides his wife, he is survived by two children, Anita Hermann and Leo Provencher; grandchildren Leo Provencher Jr., Melina Provencher, Jason Cain, Justin Hermann, Jennifer Lee and Andrew Jordan, and great-grandchildren Jada, Mila, Jacen, Jake and Jason Jr. He was the father of Robert and Roger Provencher.
His funeral will be held Tuesday, Dec. 1, at 8 a.m. in the Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave, with a Mass of Christian Burial in Holy Spirit Parish, Dexter Street, Central Falls at 9:30 a.m. followed by burial with military honors in Notre Dame Cemetery, Pawtucket.
