Richard Carlino Obituary
Mr. Carlino worked as an electrician for Blackstone Valley Electric, now National Grid, for 45 years, retiring in 1981. He was an avid Patriots and Red Sox fan, and enjoyed golfing in his younger years.
He is survived by his brother, Angelo Carlino of Woonsocket, as well as several nieces and nephews, including Jennie Bergeron and her husband Bob of Woonsocket. He was the brother of the late Charles Carlino and Mary Losardo.
His funeral will be held Wednesday, Oct. 19, 2016, beginning with visitation at 8:30 a.m. in the Holt Funeral Home, 510 South Main St., Woonsocket, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St. Anthony's Church, 128 Greene St., Woonsocket. Burial will follow in St. Charles Cemetery, Farm Street, Blackstone. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Friendly Home Activities Fund, 303 Rhodes Ave., Woonsocket, RI 02895.

So sorry to hear of Dick's passing. I found out at Roger's Barber Shop this morning. I know now he is reunited with Rita and they are eternally happy together again.
His memory is eternal for those who knew and loved him.

Dear Uncle Dick,
Thanks for taking me to my first Pats game when I was 7 yrs old, for not letting me cheat at golf, for all the ginger ale and conversation about Buttons the collie, for your smile, your never ending good will, for yelling the "jambalaya" password when the Pats went to Superbowl in New Orleans, for playing cards at your BVE retirement party, for making everyone around you happier. So sad to hear of Dick's passing. They were our "back yard neighbors" when we lived on Grove Street. Loved our talks over the fence with Dick and Rita and all the goodies from his garden! Also remember him and his dog Buttons... a man s best friend. We remember Dick and Rita very fondly.
