Richard Robin Obituary
He was a lifelong resident of Woonsocket until moving to Westerly. He was the husband of Diane A.(Desplaines) Robin of Warwick.
Born in Woonsocket, RI son of the late Joseph H. and Irene (Beausoleil) Robin.
He was a United States Army Veteran Serving in the Vietnam War. Richard was also part of the Drum and Bugle Corps prior to his military service.
He was as a Foreman for Garelick Farms and then a Bus Monitor for the Woonsocket and then Westerly School Departments prior to retiring. He was an avid bowler, enjoyed golfing, watching his son and grandson play hockey, playing cards especially cribbage, and watching the Drum and Bugle Corps.
Besides his wife Diane he is survived by his children, Michelle Toshiko Plante of Westerly, Melany Susan Becker of Westerly, and Kristoffer Robin and his wife Danielle of Lincoln. One sister, Susan Kifer and her husband John of NH. One brother, Paul Robin and his wife Jeanine of Woonsocket. Ten grandchildren, Jordann, Jaelynn, Morgann, Lee, Caleb, Ava, Isla, Stone, Story, and Brady.
A Funeral Home Service will be on Saturday, September 3, 2022 at 3:30PM in the S. DiPardo Memorial Chapel Funeral Home 1583 Diamond Hill Rd., Woonsocket, RI 02895. Relatives and friends are invited; calling hours are from 2-4PM.

I remember Richard when we bowled in the same league at Walnut Hill Bowl in Woonsocket on Sunday evenings (with his wife Diane and many other Robins!). Great guy. Wonderful human being. So sorry Diane and family for your loss.
