Rita S. Kozinski

ATTLEBORO - Rita S. Kozinski 84, passed away Wednesday May 3, 2017 at Madonna Manor in North Attleboro after a four year battle from a traumatic brain injury. She was the beloved wife of the late Thomas G. Kozinski.
Born in Pawtucket, RI she was a daughter of the late Henry S. and Helen S. (Gabis) Gromkiewicz. Tom and Rita were married in 1954 at St. Joseph's Church, Central Falls, RI. They resided in South Attleboro for 60 years in the home Tom built.
Her greatest joy was being involved with the activities of her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She loved cooking for them, playing games, swimming in the pool and always being available to babysit. Rita was also the founder and troop leader of Attleboro Girl Scout Troop 908.
She is survived by her loving family Diane Rundstrom and her husband Bill of Blandford, MA, Gary Kozinski and his wife Christine of Merrimack, NH and Linda Chastain of Jupiter, FL, seven grand- children, two great grandchildren and three step grandchildren nieces, nephews and her cherished Jack Russell Terrier "Lily". She was a sibling of the late Alfreda Oziemblewski, Raymond Gromkiewicz and Monica March.
Relatives and friends are welcome to attend CALLING HOURS MONDAY MAY 8, 2017 From 5:00 P.M. To 7:00 P.M. with a Prayer Service at 7:00 P.M. in the Karol A. Romenski & Sons Funeral Home 342 High Street Central Falls, RI.
A Memorial Mass will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers Memorial Donations to St. Joseph's Church 391 High Street Central Falls, RI 02863 would be greatly appreciated.
