Rita Marot Obituary
Rita worked for over twenty-five years as a waitress at the former East Side Checker Club in Pawtucket. She enjoyed playing Bingo, Scrabble, dancing, making arts & crafts, completing puzzles and above all spending time with her cherished family.
Rita leaves three children, Anne-Marie Sullivan and her husband, Bill, Mark Marot and his wife, Christa and Lynda Salois and her partner, Don; a son-in-law, Mike Riley; eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. She was the mother of the late Raymond Marot and Lorraine Riley, and the sister of the late Juliette (Begin) Hanley.
Relatives and friends are welcome to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Wednesday at 11 a.m. in St. Cecilia Church, 755 Central Ave., Pawtucket. SOCIAL DISTANCING AND MASKS WILL BE REQUIRED TO ATTEND THE FUNERAL MASS. The interment at Notre Dame Cemetery in the family plot will be private. Flowers are respectfully omitted. Memorial gifts to the Pawtucket Soup Kitchen, P.O. Box 3102, Pawtucket, RI 02861 would be appreciated. Arrangements are entrusted to William W. Tripp Funeral Home, Pawtucket.
