Robert W. "Bob Bell" Belhumeur

WOONSOCKET - Robert W. Belhumeur "Bob Bell", 87, of Woonsocket, RI passed away on Saturday, June 9, 2018, at his home. He was the beloved husband of the late Louise (Berard) Belhumeur, and his former wife the late Claire E. Belhumeur. Born in Woonsocket on June 4, 1931, the son of the late Armand and Blanche (San Soucy) Belhumeur. He is the loving father of Donna L. Landry and her husband, Roger of Harrisville, RI, Armand R. Belhumeur and his wife, Marianne of No. Smithfield, RI, Jeannine A. Belhumeur of No. Smithfield, RI, Pamela J. Myette and her husband, John of Plymouth, MA, and Yolande R. Deryck and her husband, Michael of Blackstone, MA. He leaves his cherished grandchildren, Melissa Barrow, David Landry, Sarah Deler, Amanda Pellegrini, Melanie Hand, Matthew Deryck, John Myette IV, William "Billy" Myette, and great-grandchildren, Trinity Landry, Hunter Barrow, Smith Landry, Kingston Landry, Leo Pellegrini and baby Deryck on the way. He is the brother of Jeannine Gosselin of Pawtucket, RI and the late Yolande McNeil.
A resident of Woonsocket formerly of Bellingham, he was a graduate of Assumption Preparatory School in Worcester, MA Class of 1949. He also served in the United States Navy Reserve during the Korean Conflict.
Robert owned and operated Bell's Roofing Company in Woonsocket for over 30 years until retiring. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, and spent many fond years at Lake Winnisquam, NH. He also cherished his beloved cat Maya. Devoted to his family, he will be greatly missed.
