SUMMERVILLE SC - Robert D. Bessette Sr. passed away peacefully on June 13, 2025, in Summerville, SC. Born February 12, 1933, in Pawtucket, RI, he was a devoted spouse to
Alice (Connelly), parent, veteran and former resident of Seekonk, MA and North Palm Beach, FL.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held July 26, 11:00 AM at Our Lady Queen of Martyrs, Seekonk. Full obituary is available at

So very sorry to learn of Bob’s passing. Another “kid” from Pleasant View has gone to heaven. Many years ago my husband, Ed, was honored to be in your wedding, Alice, no matter how long we share a life together, losing them is too soon. May your many happy memories sustain you and your family throughout the days ahead and in the future.
