Robert Jones Obituary
A WWII Navy Veteran, Bob was a self-employed floor mechanic and had also previously worked for Mousseau Flooring. He was an avid sports fan and especially loved the Patriots, Bruins and Red Sox, and had a witty sense of humor.
He is survived by a daughter, Debra Todd, and her husband Wayne of North Smithfield, a son, Joseph Jones, of Charlestown; three grandchildren, Jennifer Lauzier and her husband Steve, Wendy Todd-Fies and her husband Juan, and Chris Todd; as well as three great granddaughters, Ashley and Gabrielle Lauzier and Stasia Todd. He was the brother of the late Russell Jones, Thelma Naven and Edith Salisbury.
His funeral will be held Wednesday, Aug. 3, 2016, beginning with visitation at 9 a.m., followed by a service at 11 a.m. in the Holt Funeral Home, 510 South Main St., Woonsocket. Burial, with military honors, will follow in Slatersville Cemetery, Greene Street, North Smithfield. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Overlook Nursing and Rehab Center, 14 Rock Ave., Pascoag, RI 02859.
