Robert A. Labonte

NORTH SMITHFIELD - Robert A. Labonte 62, of 800 Farnum Pike, died Sunday, September 13, 2015 at home. He was a son of the late Benoit and Georgette (Detonnancourt) Labonte. Bobby was a member of the ARC of Northern RI and later Seven Hills of RI. He enjoyed attending workshops at Fabien St., and did so until December of 2014. Bobby had a great passion for music, he also loved car rides and the ocean.
He is survived by his siblings, Richard Labonte and his wife Kathleen of N. Smithfield, Edgar Labonte of Chicopee, MA, Maurice Labonte of Chicago, IL, Monique Lambert of Manchester, CT, Jacqueline Labonte-Morris of Albany, OR and Michelle Bard of N. Smithfield; many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews, and his extended family from Farnum Pike, including, Sandy Deryck, Gayle O'Donnell and Russ, Don, and Bob. He was also the brother of the late Benoit "Guy" Labonte, Roland Labonte and Lorraine Turcotte.
His funeral will be held Friday at 9:00 a.m. at the Fournier & Fournier Funeral Home, 463 South Main St., Woonsocket, with a service in the Funeral Home at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow in St Jean Baptiste Cemetery in Bellingham.
