Robert Plasse Obituary
He was the Husband of the late Rita (Payette) Plasse and Companion of Rolande Lefebvre of Woonsocket.
Born in Woonsocket, son of the late Bertrand and Florence (Phaneuf) Plasse.
Mr. Plasse worked for 40 years as a truck driver and a 30 year member of the Teamster Union Local 251. He worked for Theroux Bros., Trottier Bros., and George Mann Chemical Co.; retiring in 1998.
He was survived by two sons, Robert Plasse Jr. and his wife Kimberly of Swansea, MA and Rodney Plasse and his partner, Robert MacPherson of South Weymouth, MA. One daughter, Roberta Robidoux and her husband Adrien of Palm Coast, FL. One sister, Theresa Lussier of Cumberland and predeceased sister, Aline Richard. Four Grandchildren and five great-grandchildren, and two step great-grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, February 16, 2021 at 10 AM in St. Joseph Church, 1200 Mendon Road, Woonsocket, RI.
Burial will be in St. Jean the Baptist Cemetery. Relatives and friends are invited. Calling hours are respectfully omitted. The S. DiPardo Memorial Chapel Funeral Home 1583 Diamond Hill Rd Woonsocket, RI 02895 are in charge of the arrangements. In lieu of flowers, Memorial contributions may be made to; The American Cancer Society at www.cancer.org
