Robert Schionning Obituary
He was born in Oswego, New York, he was the son of Roberta (Miller) of Orlando, FL, and the late Harry Schionning.
Rob was a Senior Catastrophe Analyst at FM Global in Johnston, he was a resident of Burrillville, previously residing in North Smithfield and Orlando, Florida. He served as a Sargent in the Army, 10th Group Special Forces, from 1987 until 1995. Rob was an avid sports enthusiast and enjoyed attending his children's school and sports functions.
He was the beloved father of his surviving children, Bradley P. Schionning and Kathryn B. Schionning. He leaves brothers Michael (Jackie), John (Cheryl), Jeffrey (Sondra) and Mark (Kim) Schionning, a sister, Maggie (Glenn) Arthur. He also leaves several aunts, cousins, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a brother Timothy P. Schionning.
Calling hours will be held Tuesday from 5pm until 8pm in the Keene-Brown Funeral Home 445 Greenville Rd., North Smithfield. Burial will be held Wednesday in RI Veteran's Cemetery in Exeter. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory, may be made for the education of his children.

I am so sad that my Grandchildren have lost their father . I know he loved them with all his heart , they were his life . I'm sorry Rob will miss all the milestones in his childrens lives ! As his former mother-in-law I will miss him and pray for his soul ! Thank you for giving me Brad and Kathryn I love you for that , Rob .

My deepest sympathies and heartfelt condolences to Rob's family. Brad & Kate...my heart hurts for you. Always know that his sun and moon rose over the two of you. You were truly his pride and joy and he loved you so very much! I will miss his smiling face...that impish twinkle in his eyes and our back and forth banter. He was a sweet friend.
