Roberta C. Traill

SEEKONK - Roberta C. (McGill) Traill, 95, a longtime resident of Seekonk passed away Wednesday, September 13, 2017 surrounded by her devoted family at Madonna Manor Nursing Home in North Attleboro. She was the beloved wife of the late Donald Traill for 22 years before his death in 1974.
Born February 1, 1922 in Cumberland, RI, she was a daughter of the late John and Anna (Quinn) McGill.
Roberta grew up in Pawtucket and was a graduate of Sacred Heart High School in Pawtucket.
She was a devoted homemaker and active at St. Mary's Parish in Seekonk for many years. She ran the Christmas Bazaar at St. Mary's for over 20 years and was a recipient of the Marian Medal for her parish.
She is survived by her daughter, Susan Jacobson and husband Andrew of Ridgewood, NJ; brother-in-law Bob Traill; Three grandchildren: Thomas Donald and wife Suzanne, Michael William and Katie McGill; 2 great-grandchildren: Lucy McGill and William Thomas; And many nieces and nephews.
Services were held at Madonna Manor Chapel with burial at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in East Providence.
