J'écoute régulièrement l'émission de radio de Roger et je suis dans le Massachusetts. Faque j'ai écouté hier (le samedi 5 décembre).
En écoutant ce soir (2020 6 décembre) l'émission québécoise sur CIQI FM, Montmagny, Quebec, ils ont mentionné que Roger était décédé; un choc pour moi.
Je me suis assis avec Roger des fois le dimanche matin au cours des dernières trois années dans son studio et je l'ai regardé faire son programme en direct. On a parlé de choses aussi bien concernant les Québécois de la Nouvelle-Angleterre et les musiciens qu'il avait rencontrés au Québec. À la fin de son programme, je l'ai aidé de porté son valise de cassettes de programme jusqu'à sa char. Roger a toujours été un plaisir d'être avec et j'ai beaucoup admiré son programme. Il a toujours présenté un programme très professionnel au WNRI qui a maintenu le joi du Québec, Quebecois chansons traditionelle, et les bonne histoires de son enfence au Quebec, dans la région de la Nouvelle-Angleterre. Que Dieu bénisse sa merveilleuse famille.
Merci Roger, pour toute la joie que tu m'as apportée.

Dear Claudette and Family: My deepest sympathy and condolences on the passing of Roger. While growing up in Providence in the 60s and 70s I enjoyed listening to Roger and Claudette with my mother. Chief Laliberte was an asset to the Coventry Police Department. He was respected by his officers and returned that respect. A good person to work for and a nice person.
