Ronald Ferreira, Sr. Obituary

PAWTUCKET - Ronald J. Ferreira, Sr., 83, passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 8, 2022 surrounded by his family. He was the beloved husband of Katherine J. (O'Brien) Ferreira for nearly fifty-nine years. Born in Fall River, Massachusetts, he was the only child of the late Jacinto and Maria C. (Oliveira) Ferreira.

A veteran of the U.S. Army, Ronald proudly served his country during the Vietnam era. He worked as a forklift operator at the former Roger Williams Foods, Cumberland, for thirty-one years prior to retiring in 2000. Ronald was an avid Boston Red Sox and New England Patriots fan who enjoyed spending time with his family.

Besides his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Patricia Narcovich of Cumberland; a son, Ronald J. Ferreira, Jr. and his girlfriend, Kellie Rice, of New Hampshire and three grandchildren, Nicholas and Christopher Broccolo and Brady Narcovich. He was the father-in-law of the late Michael Broccolo and the late Alan Narcovich.

The family wishes to express their gratitude to the staff at HopeHealth Hulitar Hospice Center for their exceptional care and compassion.

Services will be private. Visitation and floral tributes are respectfully omitted. Memorial donations to The Autism Project, 1516 Atwood Ave., Johnston, RI 02919 would be appreciated. Funeral arrangements are entrusted with WILLIAM W. TRIPP Funeral Home, Pawtucket.
