Ronald Guay Obituary
Born in Woonsocket, the son of the late Eugene A. and Juliette (Aubin) Guay, he lived in Woonsocket for most of his life, moving to Warwick 10 years ago. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War.
Mr. Guay was employed by the City of Woonsocket Highway Department for 25 years, retiring 15 years ago.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by a step-son, Christopher A. Rounds of Maine; two sisters, Denise Hopkins of Fall River, MA and Claire Branchaud of Orlando, FL; and two grandchildren, Abigail and Rebecca.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend visiting hours on Tuesday, December 26, from 4-7 p.m., with a prayer service at 7 p.m., in the Barrett & Cotter Funeral Home, 1328 Warwick Avenue, Spring Green, Warwick. Burial will be private in the Rhode Island Veterans Cemetery, Exeter. In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to the American Cancer Society.

Dear Sonja, I'm so sorry for the loss of your beloved Ron-I never got to meet him but I'll never forget the day he called the office and I answered the phone and he called me "hon" and started talking before he found out I wasn't you. We had a good laugh over that one! There are no words to help with your loss but you and your family are in our thoughts and prayers. Love, Deb
