Ruth Reed Obituary

PAWTUCKET - Ruth M. Reed, 63, of Pawtucket, passed away Wednesday, June 20, 2018. She was the beloved wife of Joel Reed. Born in Attleboro, she was the daughter of Arthur Richardson and the late Ruth (Peterson) Richardson. Ruth was a school teacher at Dayspring Christian Academy in South Attleboro for many years.
Besides her husband and father, she is survived by 5 children, Debbie Reed, Jeffery Reed, Heather Reed, Joel Reed Jr., and Matthew Reed; 2 sisters, Martha Tingley and Sharon Richardson; 2 brothers, Gary and Alan Richardson; 8 grandchildren, and 3 great grandchildren.
Relatives and friends are invited to visiting hours Sunday from 2-5pm in the Costigan-O'Neill Funeral Home, 220 Cottage Street, Pawtucket. The funeral and burial will be private. In Lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hope Hospice & Palliative Care, 1085 North Main Street, Providence, RI 02904.

Mrs.Reed was loved by all the kids she teached. My daughter and son were blessed by her kindness and patience. And we as parents felt her love toward our kids. She was special.
