He is survived by a son, Zbigniew, "Peter" Okruta and his wife Debra of No. Smithfield and a daughter, Danuta Yatskin of No. Smithfield. A sister, Anna Gaczynski of Woonsocket, also 4 grandchildren. Matthew, Kevin, Kelly, & Sophie.
His Funeral will be Saturday at 9:00 A.M. from the Kubaska Funeral Home, 33 Harris Ave. Woonsocket with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 A.M at St. Stanislaus Kostka Church, Harris Ave. Woonsocket, Burial will be in the parish cemetery. Relatives & Friends are invited. Visitation hours are Friday, (March 3rd.) from 4:00 to 8:00 P.M. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to: The Izzy Foundation, c/o Hasbro Childrens Hospital Cancer Ward, P.O. Box 2326, Providence, RI, 02096.

Danuta and Sophie, Danuta, I recall you sharing episodes of your close relationship of your dad. I felt honored to partake in the reflections, you had such a sweet relationship with him. Those times let me reflect back onto my own dad . I thank you for sharing and am so sorry for you, although gone, you will always be his daughter, a strong woman carrying his memory always.
