Stephanie Teper Obituary
A lifelong resident of Woonsocket, she was the loving wife of the late Eugene Teper and daughter of the late William and Catherine (Irza) Cherwinski.
Stephanie was a meat wrapper for the former Almacs Supermarket for forty years. She was a member of St. Michael Ukrainian Orthodox Church in Woonsocket and St. Andrew Ukrainian Orthodox Church in Boston as well as a member of both church choirs. She was also a member of the Ladies' Sodality at St. Michael.
Stephanie is survived by her daughter Christine A. Charest and her husband, Richard of North Smithfield and her son Glenn W. Teper and his wife, Joanne of Woonsocket. Grandchildren include, Gregg and Father Deacon John Charest and Adam and Alexandra Teper. Three great grandchildren, John (Jack), Juliette and Sebastian Charest.
She was preceded in death by her brothers: Louis, Michael, Jacob, Andrew and Steven Cherwinski; sisters: Jennie, Sophie and Annie Cherwinski.
A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, at 10AM in the St. Michael Ukrainian Orthodox Church. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service from 9-10AM. Burial will be in the St. Michael Ukrainian Orthodox Cemetery, in Blackstone, MA.
In lieu of flowers, the family wishes to have donations in her memory made to St. Michael Ukrainian Orthodox Church Basement Renovation Fund, 74 Harris Avenue, Woonsocket, RI, 02895
