CHESHIRE, CT - Suzanne C. Trudeau (Perreault) 84, of Cheshire, CT passed away peacefully at her home on

January 7,

2024 surrounded by her loving family and pet cat Lannie by her side. She was the beloved wife of Paul Trudeau for 64 years. She was born in Woonsocket, RI, and was the daughter of the late Aime and Donalda (Robillard) Perreault.

She also leaves behind brother Gilles Perreault, sisters Jeanne Levesque, Yvette Guillemette, Gisele Chapelaine, and Huguette Dion and sister in - law Muriel Trudeau. She was predeceased by bother Paul Perreault, sisters Mariette Giguere, Sr. Fernande Perreault and Cecile Martin, and brother in - law Adrien Trudeau.

Suzanne grew up in Woonsocket and graduated high school from Our Lady of The Mountains Academy in Gorham, NH and then from Rhode Island School of Nursing in 1958. She served the Healthcare field for over 47 years as an LPN specializing in geriatric care.

She raised her family in New Britain, CT and Warrior Run, PA and later moved to Stamford, CT. In retirement, her and Paul moved to Westerly, RI where they enjoyed spending time relaxing on the beach and entertaining family and friends. She was a parishioner of The Immaculate Conception Church and was a lifelong member of the Columbiettes and proudly served the Legion of Mary.

Her favorite holiday was celebrating Christmas Eve. She worked hard and saved all year long so she could fill her legendary stockings and put presents under the tree for the entire family. She truly received more satisfaction in giving than she did in receiving.
