Therese Bell Chartier Obituary

WOONSOCKET - Former Woonsocket resident, Therese M. (Houle) Bell Chartier, 94, passed away February 5, 2021, in California, where she lived for the past eight years. Therese was the last surviving child of the late Herve and Opalma Houle.

Besides her nine siblings, she was predeceased by her first husband, Henry N. Bell, and her oldest son, Normand R. Bell; and her second husband, Roger V. Chartier. She is survived by her daughters, Jeannine Fontaine of Massachusetts; Phyllis St. George-Roth and her husband, John Roth Jr. of California; Constance Darnell and her husband, Richard Darnell of Georgia; her son Paul Bell and his wife, Janie Bell of Georgia; and her daughter-law, Betty Bell of Woonsocket. She is also survived by her 8 grandchildren Keith St. George, Jennifer Tocci, Steven Fontaine, Connie Belle Smith, Jeremy Bell, Richard Darnell, Jr., Matthew Bell and Charles Darnell; as well as 5 great grandchildren.

Memorial services will be announced at a later date.
