Thomas Pearson Obituary
He was the husband of Janet (Pinckney) Pearson. Born in Pawtucket, he was the son of the late Elmer and Mary B. (Ethier) Pearson.
Tommy was employed by the State of Rhode Island Department of Environmental Services as a supervisor prior to his retirement. He was an avid Boston Red Sox and New England Patriots fan.
He is survived by his daughters Melissa (John) Carney of Pawtucket and Jennifer Carney of Pawtucket; brothers Bobby (Jeannine) Pearson of Douglas, MA and David Pearson of N. Providence; sisters Meg (Tate) Brandt of Lincoln and Jo-Ann (Darryl) Lyon of Cumberland; grandsons Michael Carney Jr. Jordan Carney, Justin Carney and Matthew Carney and several nieces and a nephew.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday at 10:00 am in St. Teresa Church, Newport Ave., Pawtucket. Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery, Cumberland. Calling hours are Thursday from 4-7 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations in Tommy's memory to The ALS Association Gift Processing Center, PO Box 6051, Albert Lea, MN 56007 would be appreciated. My sincere condolences to Tommy's family on his passing. I went to high school with Tommy and he was part of the "Dunkin gang". Remember his Camaro and the fun we had driving around CF listening to tunes on the 8 track.
