WOONSOCKET - Victoria (Francheschi) Levesque, 88, of Front St., Crepeau Court, died Tuesday, June 21, 2016 in Rhode Island Hospital. She was the wife of the late Paul Levesque.

Born in Woonsocket, daughter of the late Joseph and Amelia (DiBasco) Levesque, Vicky worked as a seamstress for both U.S. Rubber, for 24 years, and Wrentham State School, for 11 years. She was also owner operator of her own Hair Salon for several years.

She was a parishioner of St. Anthony's Church, a member of North Smithfield Seniors, The Golden Hearts Club and Angel Stone Chapter of the Eastern Star of South Attleboro. One of her favorite pastimes was going to Mohegan Sun with her friends.

Vicky is survived by her two nieces, Linda Tanfani, of Bellingham, and Marianne Lowe, of North Smithfield. She also leaves behind her great nieces Jessica Feely, Erica Dowling, Kimberly Rawson and great nephew Bryan Lowe; as well as seven great-great nieces and nephews. She was also the sister of the late Cesera Vetri.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, June 28, at 10 a.m. in St. Anthony's Church Greene St. Woonsocket. Burial will be private.

Now that I live in Wisconsin I often think of her when passing the many casinos here. She would have enjoyed being here too. Lots of fun for her, and within easy driving distance.
