Violet Decelles Obituary
Born in Woonsocket, daughter of the late Albert A. and Gracia I. (Ethier) Rivet.
Violet worked as an Executive Secretary for Thompson National Press and General Transistor. She also worked as an Interpreter and Bilingual Secretary for most of her life, retiring in 1963.
Violet was a former member of the Four Seasons North, St. Josephs Senior Citizens and the Parkview Social Club.
Besides her Good Friend and Caregiver, Anita Hebert, she is survived by two sisters, Marceline Milligan and Madeline Deragon both of Florida, and several nieces and nephews. She was also the sister of the late Normand, Camille, and Roger Rivet.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, September 8, 2017 at 11 AM in St. Charles Church, 190 N. Main St, Woonsocket, RI 02895. Relatives and friends are invited; Visitation will be from 9:30 - 10:30 AM prior to Mass in the S. DiPardo Memorial Chapel Funeral Home 1583 Diamond Hill Rd, Woonsocket, RI. Burial will be in St. Jean the Baptist Cemetery 314 Wrentham, Rd, Bellingham, MA.

Cousine Violette! I am so sad to hear. She would call us and be an absolute delight. I loved sending her cards and reading the notes she wrote in cards she sent to us. Such a sweet lady! Rest in heaven, cousine! Much love! Xoxoxoxoxo

My thoughts and prayers are with Violet and her family at this time. May she find happiness in her eternal home comforted by the Presence of Christ and Our Heavenly Mother. I only had the pleasure of meeting Violet once but I remember her fondly. She is only a prayer away. Blessings and prayers.
