Though my heart weighs heavy with sadness of Bill and Irma's passing, I am ever so grateful for my time spent with them. I hold in my heart such fond memories of love and kindness they gave me. Always greeting me with open arms... It seems the most memorable times I spent with them were two exceptionally hard times for them, a time once when their son Billy almost passed away many years ago and then when Billy passed on. They were so nurturing and loving to me, all the while their hearts were broken wide open. I will miss and think of Bill and Irma forever. God bless and my Deepest and Sincere Sympathy to the Guertin Family.

There are many fond memories of Uncle Bill and Aunt Irma that I can recall. Going to his cabin in Vermont when the kids were small and he tricked Travis into blowing the horn to call the turkeys. Amanda forwarded Uncle Bill's obituary so I could send my condolences. She asked me if the was "the Uncle Bill who played that trick on Travis". So I would say he was one of the best and loved to play jokes. He remained a kid at heart.

My deepest sympathy to my nephews Brother Christian, Michael and Peter Guertin and Peter's wife Kathy and their children, Ethan and Alisa.

Bill and Irma were always so gracious and kind to me when I visited the family. I can't be there in person to share in the family grief but know that I am there in spirit and love.

"And let perpetual light shine upon him."
